Two metal detectorists have been convicted of stealing a 3-million pound hoard of Viking coins and priceless jewellery.

George Powell from Newport and Layton Davies of Pontypridd dug up the treasures in North Herefordshire in 2015, but failed to declare it.

A third man has been found guilty of conspiring to conceal criminal property and conspiring to convert criminal property and a fourth man has been found guilty of conspiring to conceal criminal property.

Much of the collection - which dates back 11-hundred years to the reign of King Alfred the Great - is still missing.
