Proposal to reduce speed limit on South Shropshire road

The speed limit on a South Shropshire could be reduced.

A consultation has been launched asking people for their views about proposal for the B4367 between Clungunford to Lingen Bridge Road, near Bucknell on the English/Welsh border.

Currently, the speed limit on the stretch of road 206 metres south of its junction with Weston Road to 109m south of its junction with the road leading to Bucton is 50mph.

However, Shropshire Council is proposing to reduce it to 40mph. Documents relating to the consultaton, which ends on February 20, can be viewed at Craven Arms Library. Alternatively, you can may request copies by emailing traffic.engineering@shropshire.gov.uk, writing to Traffic Engineering Team, Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ND, or by calling 0345 678 9077.

Anyone wishing to support or object to the proposal can send an email or letter to the above addresses.
