Van Gogh is not only one of the most beloved artists of all time, but perhaps the most misunderstood. Focusing on his driving passions and unique creative process this film explores the artist’s years in the south of France, where he revolutionised his style and changed art forever. It is a celebration of his life and work, his engagement with poetry and love, his diligent research and ground-breaking use of colour.
