Pop sensations Little Mix cast a spell over 15,000 adoring fans at Caldicot Castle last Thursday.
The world’s biggest girl group performed hit after hit to a packed out audience inside the castle’s beautiful country park.
Renowned for their unique brand of catchy pop tunes, Little Mix served up a poptastic performance full of energy and passion that had the audience hooked.
The four-piece of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have not looked back since winning the X Factor in 2011 and have earned a reputation for their energetic, entertaining shows.
They certainly did not disappoint last night.
With the crowd warmed up by special guests Sheppard and Louisa Johnson, Little Mix delivered a mesmerizing performance with brilliant harmonies and cleverly choreographed dance moves.
The group are currently touring the UK with their Summer Shout Out shows and last night’s performance certainly lived up to its billing, with thousands of fans singing along to their favourite songs.
The cabinet member with responsibility for innovation, enterprise and leisure, councillor Bob Greenland, said: “It’s not often you get to see acts like Little Mix perform in such stunning surroundings and I’m thrilled with how they embraced performing at one of Wales’ most iconic landmarks.
“Entertaining is clearly in their DNA and, on last night’s performance, they clearly have many Glory Days still ahead of them!
“This spectacular show was the latest in our diverse and dynamic public programme of events here at Caldicot Castle.
“We want to lead the way in housing contemporary arts and culture events in south east Wales and nothing signals this intent more than welcoming one of the world’s biggest pop groups.”
