Police in the Forest of Dean are appealing for witnesses to an altercation which took place between two groups of teenagers earlier this month.
Officers were called to reports of an altercation between two groups of teenagers on Forest Road in Lydney at around 6.45pm on Saturday 8 January.
It was stated that the youths were in possession of weapons and threatening to injure each other.
Two 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy, all from Chepstow, were arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. A 15-year-old boy from Caldicot was also arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing a bladed weapon in a public place.
They were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Officers believe that this was an isolated incident.
