Sainsbury's have submitted plans for a new supermarket on the Rocks Green site in Ludlow.
The supermarket chain wants to build a store on the site with an Argos store included.
Plans submitted show the store will be built of natural materials including wood panelling and glazing. There will be increased daylight within the store to reduce internal lighting.
A petrol station with three pumps and a jet wash are also included.
If the plans are approved, work on the site could begin this year and the store will open in the second half on 2021.
