County planners have given the go-ahead for three homes to be built on the site of a bungalow which was destroyed by a fire in a South Herefordshire village.
Herefordshire Council’s planning committee approved the reserved matters for the proposal to replace the home and build another two at The Trees in Orcop Hill.
The council received more than 40 objections to the scheme including disapproval from the parish council who said it preferred to see bungalows at the location and raised drainage concerns.
Mollie Grabham, 95, was found dead at the property by emergency services the morning after a blaze there in October 2015.
