Ludlow is preparing for a lively St George’s Day celebration this Thursday.
The event will feature the town’s first “Shakespeare Shout”, led by Di Lyle.
It will take place at Castle Gardens from 1pm on April 23.
Residents and visitors are invited to join in a shared reading from William Shakespeare’s Henry V, ending with a group shout.
Organisers say the event is designed to be family-friendly, inclusive and welcoming to all.
The celebration forms part of a national initiative encouraging communities to come together through theatre and heritage.
The Mayor says it’s a chance for Ludlow to celebrate its community spirit and “make a joyful noise” for St George’s Day.
