A man in his 50s has died in Herefordshire after a small plane crashed at Shobdon Airfield.
The fixed wing light aircraft came down shortly after 10 o'clock this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service says the pilot was inside when they arrived - but it "quickly became apparent" nothing could be done to save him.
No one else was on board.
