CCTV appeal after attempted robbery

Police in Herefordshire have released CCTV images following an attempted robbery at a shop in Bromyard.

At 7.40pm last night (Monday 23 November) at Premier on the High Street. A man entered and threatened the cashier with a knife demanding money from the till.

The offender left immediately, and no money was stolen during the incident.

We are appealing to anyone who might recognise this man, who we hope can help us with our investigation.

DC Leah Lowe of Hereford CID said: "This is believed to be an isolated incident and thankfully, no one was injured. The investigation is on-going and we are appealing for any witnesses and anyone who recognises this individual to come forward.

“If you have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please call us on 01432 347399, quoting incident number 553i 23Nov."
