The Victorian Christmas Fayre is returning to Worcester after a year away next weekend.

The event has grown to become one of the leading themed Christmas Fayres in the country.

Nearly 200 stalls will be taking over the city centre selling local arts, crafts, food and gifts so why not make the most of the festivities and use the park and ride service to and from the event?

County Hall is currently being used as a COVID test site, but the County Council will be once again providing parking space in one of the car parks along with staff to help visitors in support of the Park & Ride service no. 910 operated commercially by First Worcester Bus.

Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, said: "It's wonderful to be able to welcome the Christmas Fayre back to Worcester after a year away. It is always a special time for the city, its absence was certainly felt last year. For many, the event marks the start of their Christmas celebrations. The park and ride is a great way to ensure you can enjoy what the fayre has to offer whilst keeping the city centre moving and we're really glad to be partnering with First Bus to be able to deliver the service."
