Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a store and petrol station in the Cotswolds were ram-raided in the early hours of Wednesday 28 December.
Shortly before 2.20am a vehicle was driven into the front of a store on Moreton-in-Marsh High Street.
The vehicle was used to drive through the shop front and then a group of people, who were all wearing balaclavas, gained access and stole a number of items from within.
Extensive damaged was caused to the building during the incident. The vehicle used was left at the scene and has been recovered by police for forensic examination.
The group then fled the area in a white Volkswagen vehicle believed to have been driven on false plates.
At around 2.30am a petrol station nearby in Bourton-on-the-Hill was attacked by the same group travelling in the white Volkswagen. A number of items were stolen, including cigarettes and alcohol.
The vehicle left the scene in the direction of Fish Hill.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incidents or who has any information and has not yet spoken to police.
