Man arrested for drug supply following warrant in Malvern

A man has been arrested after a warrant was executed at an address in Malvern this morning.

Officers from Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), along with officers from Task Force, the Local Policing Priority Team (LPPT) and PD Thor entered a property in Langland Avenue in Malvern.

A quantity of class B drugs, three phones and a quantity of cash were found within the property.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and is currently in police custody.

Inspector Dave Wise, from Malvern SNT, said: “We listened to concerns from the local community and executed the warrant this morning and a quantity of drugs, cash and phones were found.

“Selling drugs will not be tolerated on our streets and we will listen to any reports we receive and act on them if needed. Drugs are often linked to organised crime and the sale of them has a harmful impact on our communities we are here to protect”.
