Louisa Johnson, the X Factor's youngest ever winner, has been named as a special guest support at Little Mix's sold-out outdoor concert at Caldicot Castle on Thursday, 13th July 2017.
Little Mix and Louisa will be joined by Australian band, Sheppard, who recently supported Justin Bieber at his show in Perth, Australia.
Since her 2015 X Factor win, Louisa Johnson has enjoyed chart hits with Forever Young, and So Good and featured on the Clean Bandit top five single Tears. She has recently released her new single Best Behaviour.
Sheppard are a Brisbane six-piece behind 2014's viral hit Geronimo and consist of siblings George, Amy and Emma Sheppard, Jason Bovino, Michael Butler and Dean Gordon.
The line-up is announced a couple of weeks after Caldicot Castle has re-opened for the summer season with a brand new remodelled café, a new children's play area and an exciting series of events.
It was announced last week that Britpop favourites Toploader and Space will join Ocean Colour Scene at Caldicot Castle on Saturday 15th July. July is a month full of music as the venue hosts an 80s Retro Festival which features Jason Donovan, Imagination, Tony Hadley, One Night of Queen and The Human League on Friday 7th July, local band Rusty Shackle will play to a sold-out crowd inside the castle walls on Friday 14th July and Only Men Aloud will perform in the atmospheric setting on Sunday 16th July. Tickets can be purchased from www.caldicotcastle.co.uk.
Dan Davies, the council's officer with responsibility for events across Monmouthshire and Caldicot Castle says: "We're in for an incredible July in Caldicot as 25,000 people will descend on the town across the ten days. The castle is a brilliant place to visit and we look forward to showing it off to thousands this year."
