Developers have submitted plans to build 11 homes in Cradley.

Applicant Andrew Parkhill wants to build the mixture of four, three and two-bed homes on land at Mirrorbrook Small Holding in Stoney Cross.

Architects working on the scheme say it will provide much needed two-bed starter homes and family homes of various sizes.

They also say the properties will be designed with’green values’ by building roofs which are specifically pitched south to provide dedicated solar panels and Tesla power walls.

However, objector Ian Hyson said he had concerns over road safety.

He said: “The number of properties is excessive for a site that accesses the B4220 on a bend so close to the junction with the A4103.

“The potential number of vehicles requiring access and egress, for this number of properties, will create serious traffic congestion and the possibility of more accidents at a currently dangerous junction.”

Residents have until December 27 to comment on the proposals which Herefordshire Council hopes to consider by February 25.
