A man who was taken ill and found at the Grange park in Leominster on Friday has since passed away.

Police have struggled to identify the man.

Sergeant Tony Lewis said: "We're urging anyone who might know this man or could have any information about his identity to please come forward.

"He may have family or loved ones so anything, no matter how small it may seem, could help us to identify him and get in touch with them.

"Unfortunately we are unable to provide a picture of the man but he is described as white, in his 40s, of large build, with glasses, a goatee beard, a greying moustache and brown wavy hair.

"He had no tattoos or scars but is understood to have been wearing the shirt when he took ill in the park."

Anyone with information or who may know the man is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 751S of 2 August.
