Appeal following robberies in Redditch

Police are appealing for information regarding two robberies in Redditch that may be linked.

The first robbery took place on Monday (29 May) between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on a footpath at the rear of Moon Moat School. The victim was approached from behind by three men and struck with an object, believed to be a baseball bat, which knocked him unconscious.

The suspects then stole a vape and left the scene, but it is not known in which direction they went. The suspects are believed to be male, all were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.

The second incident took place the following day (Tuesday 30 May) at around 10am on Blackwell Road in Barnt Green. The victim was cycling before being knocked off their bike by a purple Ford Fiesta.

Two men, who were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered, then got out of the car and chased the victim. One of the men was believed to be carrying a baseball bat. Nothing stolen on this occasion.
